Pharmacy Times and Parata Systems Celebrate 2018 Next-Generation Pharmacist Winners

Lindsay Morris, PharmD, Honored as the 2018 Next-Generation Pharmacist®

(CRANBURY, N.J. – October 8, 2018) – Pharmacy Times® and Parata Systems, founding partners of the Next-Generation Pharmacist® awards, congratulate the 2018 winners named at the awards gala held Friday, October 5 at the State Room in Boston, Massachusetts.

Lindsay A. Morris, PharmD, a behavioral health clinical pharmacist in the Department of Army, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, received the evening’s top honor: 2018 Next-Generation Pharmacist®. Morris will be featured on the cover of the October 2018 issue of Pharmacy Times®, which will profile her contributions to the industry.

Next-Generation Pharmacist® nominations surpassed 600 entries across 10 award categories. An independent panel of distinguished judges evaluated all entries for adherence to professional standards, experience related to each category, and advancement of the profession. The three highest scoring entries in each category were named finalists and the top-scoring entry was named the category winner. The overall Next-Generation Pharmacist® was selected from among the winners of the ten pharmacist categories.

The 2018 Next-Generation Pharmacist®  Lindsay A. Morris is an accomplished behavioral health clinical pharmacist and leader in the field of pharmacy. Morris’s greatest achievement so far in pharmacy practice has been the successful establishment of the Behavioral Health Clinical Pharmacy program at the Department of Defense Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany. She genuinely cares about the well-being and best interests of other people and is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of her patients every day.
