Parata Systems’ Director of Sales Operations, Andrea Overfield, Honored as a 2014 Stevie Award Winner

Renowned International Competition Recognizes Overfield with a Silver Stevie Award for Sales Operations Professional of the Year

Durham, N.C. — March 5, 2014 — Parata Systems, a leading provider of pharmacy technology solutions to support coordinated care, better health outcomes and lower medical costs, announced today their director of sales operations, Andrea Overfield, was awarded a Silver Stevie Award for Sales Operations Professional of the Year.

Overfield has spent more than 10 years playing a key role in building the infrastructure, processes, and procedures to support Parata’s sales professionals. During her tenure, Parata has earned a 25% reduction in velocity (number of days from opportunity creation to close) for Closed/Won opportunities and a 19% average annual rise in opportunity creation. With support from Parata’s HR and training teams, she was also instrumental in the customization of The Brooks Group’s IMPACT Selling® and Sales Management Workshop™ training and reinforcement programs for the Parata sales force. In 2013, Overfield was also named one of the Top Sales Operations Leaders to Watch by sales and marketing consulting services leader, Sales Benchmark Index.

“Andrea has the unique ability to think about sales operations with a comprehensive past-present-future mentality,” said Jay Blandford, executive vice president of sales and business development. “This trait, combined with her deep understanding of the importance of a supportive, unified sales force, is what makes her such an incredible asset to the team.”

In its eighth year, the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service continue to recognize the achievements of call center, customer service, and sales professionals worldwide. Overfield was one of more than 1,500 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry that were evaluated in this year’s competition, an increase of 36% over 2013. More than 260 executives around the world participated in the judging process to determine the finalists and then the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements.

Honorees were recognized at the 8th annual Stevie Award gala banquet on Feb. 21 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. More than 450 nominated customer service and sales executives from the U.S. and several other countries attended.
