Pharmacy Times® and Parata Systems, founding partners of the Next Generation Pharmacist® awards will host the 2018 awards ceremony and gala on October 5 at the State Room in Boston, Massachusetts. The venue is perched on the 33rd floor of Sixty State Street with unmatched views of the city and harbor.

“We look forward to hosting this event every year, and this year promises to inspire with great views, entertainment, and a memorable celebration of pharmacy,” said DJ Dougherty, CEO of Parata Systems. “As an organization committed to elevating the roles of the pharmacy team, recognizing pharmacy professionals focused on creating the future of pharmacy is a privilege.”

“We are thrilled to honor these outstanding individuals who have helped propel the profession of pharmacy,” said Brian Haug, president of Pharmacy Healthcare Communications. “Every aspect of the gala is planned to encapsulate the spirit of the Next-Generation Pharmacist® award recipients and their commitment to the field and their patients.”

To celebrate the leadership and passion of the finalists, judges, sponsors, and attendees, guests will be treated to performances by comedian and renowned guitarist Mike Rayburn and saxophonist Paul Ahlstrand.
